New 2019-20 version of the Oregon Blue Book out

KTVZ

Oregon Secretary of State Dennis Richardson announced Friday the release of the updated Web version of the 2019-2020 Oregon Blue Book.

The iconic Oregon Blue Book, published every other year since 1911, is the state’s official almanac and fact book.

The theme of this newest Blue Book is Oregon’s Fairs and Festivals. It contains photos and history of Oregon’s longstanding community fairs, festivals, and local celebrations, many of which are recognized as Oregon Heritage Traditions.

The book also includes the winners and runners-up from this year’s student essays and photos contests, updated sections on Oregon’s economy and government finance, and Oregon’s state and election history.

At noon on Tuesday, March 19, the 2019-2020 Blue Book print version debut and book signing will be held in the Galleria of the State Capitol Building in Salem. This event is open to the public.

The 2019-2020 Blue Book will be available for sale in the Capitol Gift Shop for $18, and they can also be purchased at bookstores around the state or online.
