Saturday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

We are in for some changes to the weather as we get set for a snow storm to move through the region.

There is a Winter Storm Warning in place for the High Desert, as well as the Cascades.

It looks like we will receive quite a bit of snow in the next few days.

We are looking at potentially 4-6 inches of snow by Sunday night, with more to follow on Monday.

The cascades will be hit hard by this storm as well.

Overnight we will see temperatures drop down to the upper 20s to low 30s.

Tomorrow highs will top out in the low to mid 30s.

This storm could total 9-14 new inches of snow by Monday night.

Tuesday we should start to see the snow showers tapper off overnight into Wednesday.

There are still chances for more snow though throughout the work week.

If you are planning on traveling, take it slow out on the roads.

Have a great weekend Central Oregon!
