Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 3-1-19
Good Friday Morning, Everyone…
Under overcast skies we will see another cold day with only a chance of some scattered snow showers. Skies will stay cloudy today. Highs will be in the low to mid 30’s and scattered, light snow showers are most possible from mid-morning to late afternoon. While we retain a chance of isolated snow showers going into this evening we will see some clearing tonight. Lows will be in the single digits to low teens. Breezes will be light out of the SE.
There will be a nice break between storm systems which will give us plenty of sunshine this weekend. Be prepared, however, to stay quite cold. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20’s and overnight lows will range from single digits to low teens. Winds will stay pretty mild. A storm system that will bring more heavy rain to central and Southern California will start to increase our cloud cover Tuesday. It will also bring us a modest warming trend that will have us up to around 40 degrees for highs by Thursday. It will also deliver a chance of mixed showers beginning Wednesday. With this system, more snow is expected in the mountains.
