La Pine Fire District offers 12 college scholarships

Each year, the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District provides 12 full ride competitive academic scholarships, plus housing and intern opportunities, to those individuals seeking Structural Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services (paramedic) degrees and careers through Central Oregon Community College.

Applications are being accepted now through the Central Oregon Fire Agencies Joint Recruitment Scholarship Process. Applications are available from COCC and on line from the La Pine Rural Fire Protection District at http://www.lapinefire.org/student.html

Applications are due March 22 for the 2019/2020 academic year.
