Good evening Central Oregon,

Tonight through Wednesday a brief ridge of high pressure will be over the area. This may allow for the low clouds into midday Monday before burning off.

There could also be some patchy freezing fog overnight tonight. Any fog that does form tonight should burn off by Monday.

A mild storm will move through quickly Monday night and Tuesday. This storm will bring decent snow totals to the eastern mountains.

Right now this is looking like a somewhat marginal situation with latest model guidance showing low temperatures within a few degrees of freezing overnight and rising toward daybreak.

Tuesday afternoon winds will be 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. High pressure will build over the area Wednesday and should persist through Sunday.

Wednesday night through Sunday expect dry conditions and temperatures in the 40s.

As the high pressure area remains over the cold snow covered area, there will likely be some inversions set up in the overnight hours with patchy fog in the lower river valleys.
