Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Clouds are rolling in tonight ahead of a change in the weather. Lows will be in the mid to upper 20s, which is average for this time of year. Winds will gust around 10 miles per hour.
By Wednesday morning we’ll see more clouds overhead and will notice more by the afternoon up from the south. Temperatures will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s for Wednesday. A slight chance for showers will be with us in the afternoon, but many locations would just see brief passing sprinkles.
Thursday morning we see a chance for rain showers across Central Oregon. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s. Snow levels remain high up around 5,600′ through the end of the week, so we’ll see rain showers rather than snow. The Cascades will see around 3-6″ of snow by the end of the week.
Temperatures stay in the mid 50s through Friday before a cool down arrives. Friday will also see a chance for rain showers by the second half of the day.
A cold front Friday night will knock down our temperatures to the upper 40s for Saturday. The beginning of our weekend carries a chance for rain showers before a clearing throughout the day. Sunday will see mostly sunny skies, dry conditions, and highs in the mid 50s.
