Good evening Central Oregon and happy Sunday!

It was just a gorgeous spring day today on the High Desert with plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures.

We are set to see some changes to the weather heading into this upcoming week.

Overnight tonight we are looking at some clouds rolling in, and we will see temperatures drop down into the upper 20s to low 30s .

We’re also going to start the see the winds pick up just a bit out of the east overnight at 5-10 MPH.

For Monday, rain showers are likely though much of the day, and we are going to see the winds pick up in the morning out of the southeast at about 10-15 MPH.

Then as we head into the afternoon the winds will continue to grow stronger out of the southeast at 15-20 MPH, and we could see gusts up around 25 MPH.

Temperatures tomorrow are set to top out in the 40s to 50s , as it will be cooler in the upper elevations and warmer in the lower elevations as this system rolls though.

Tuesday we will see things start to dry up with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s .

Then by Wednesday through Friday we are looking at chances for rain off and on to end the week.

By next weekend we are set to warm up just a bit into the low to mid 50s with drier and sunnier conditions.
