Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 4-8-19
Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
A strong flow out of the west will keep rain showers in our forecast for the next few days. Today’s rain will be accompanied by highs in the mid 50’s and breezy westerly winds at 10-20 mph. Tonight’s lows will be scattered through the 30’s so most of our precipitation will come in the form of rain. Some upper elevations may mix in a little snow. Westerly breezes will weaken to 5-10 mph.
Rain showers will weaken a bit through Tuesday. That will also mark the beginning of some cooler temps. Highs will be in the low 50’s through the middle of the week and overnight lows will be down around freezing. That will allow some the showers moving in Wednesday morning to arrive in the form of snow showers. It will turn to rain through the day as highs get close to 50 degrees. With mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 50’s, Friday will be a bit of a transition day. We will go into next weekend expecting to be in the mid to upper 50’s under mostly cloudy skies. Those clouds will yield only a slight chance of rain showers.
