Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM

KTVZ

Happy Thursday evening, everyone!

Overnight we’ll see partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Lows will fall into the 30s and 40s, which is a little above average. Winds will be out of the northwest around 5 miles per hour once we get past midnight.

Expect winds to pick up Friday ahead of a wave moving through the region. We’ll see winds topping 25 to 30 miles per hour. Breezy winds will make our daytime highs in the low to mid 60s feel a few degrees cooler. We’ll stay dry Friday with some clouds in the morning and a clearing into the second half of the day.

Saturday looks to be the windiest day with winds exceeding 30 to 35 miles per hour. Gusts will pick up in the afternoon. Highs will be cooler than Friday’s in the upper 50s and lower 60s, which is normal. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected Saturday.

Low temperatures will also cool back around the freezing mark and below. Temps will dip into the mid to upper 20s and lower 30s. We’ll see some cold morning moving forward, so remember to bundle up early!

We end the weekend with highs below normal in the mid to upper 50s. Sunday will see plenty of sunshine and breezy winds. Mostly sunny skies stick around for the beginning of the week and highs remain slightly below average for this time of year.
