Local Alert Weather, Fri. AM, 5-3-19

KTVZ

Good Friday Morning, Everyone…

With sunny skies we are expecting the warm up to begin today. The influence of cold Arctic air will weaken and the early surge of warmer air from the Pacific will pull our highs into the low 70’s. NW breezes are expected to stay pretty gentle at 5-10 mph. Light northerly breezes will calm this evening. Skies will stay clear tonight and lows will ease down to the mid to upper 30’s.

This weekend will be one of the fairest we have seen in some time. Skies will stay sunny and the warm up continues. Highs will be in the mid 70’s Saturday and Sunday, and we will see only a slight chance of thin clouds Sunday afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60’s Monday and then return to the low to mid 70’s for the rest of the week. The only interruption to the sunny skies will be an increase of clouds Wednesday. With that will come a slight and brief chance of late day sprinkles. We will finish the work week under partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies.
