Happy Friday evening, everyone!

Tonight we’ll see winds gusting around 15 miles per hour out of the north before calming around midnight. Mostly clear skies will be overhead through the overnight into tomorrow morning. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s, which is a little above average for this time of year.

Saturday begins with beautifully sunny skies and chilly temperatures. We’ll quickly warm into the 50s around 9 a.m. High temperatures will top out in the low to mid 70s, which is about 10 degrees above average for this time of year.

As a reminder, waters are still cold across the region, so be mindful. Temperatures might feel like summer, but we still have a number of road closures in place in the higher elevations and some areas also still have snow. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water for you and your pets!

Sunday sees another nice warm day with highs in the low to mid 70s. Winds will pick up at times on Sunday gusting 20 to 25 miles per hour. Changes for the beginning of next week will include a slight cool down and gusty winds. Mostly sunny skies are ahead with a few clouds in the afternoon.

The beginning of next week will see highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s, which is still above average. Winds will be breezy through the better half of the week, but we’re still expecting sunshine to mostly sunny skies.

Have a happy & safe first weekend of May!
