Redmond road closures and delays: Week of May 6-10

Here’s the city of Redmond’s planned road closures and delays update for the week of May 6-10:

City Street Maintenance Operations:

Monday, May 6 thru May 10 – Starting at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the following road closures or traffic disruptions will take place.

Asphalt repairs and structure alignments for sewer access points, catch basins, and water valve stacks may cause delays and temporary lane closures.

SW Indian Pl from SW 35 th St to SW 31 st St

SW Metolius Ave from SW 29 th St to SW 33 rd St

SW Helmholtz Way at SW 45 th St

Asphalt grinding by Tri-County Paving will begin for the City’s 2019 Overlay Project. Expect delays and temporary road closures.

SW 17 th St from W Antler Ave to End

SW 24 th St from SW Quartz Ave to SW Salmon Ave

SW 25 th St from SW Quartz Ave to SW Salmon Ave

SW 26 th St from SW Quartz Ave to End

SW Reindeer Ave from SW 27 th St to SW 23 rd St

SW Pumice Ave from SW 27 th St to SW 23 rd St

SW Pumice Ave from SW Canyon Dr to SW 15 th St

SW Kalama Ave from SW 17 th St to SW 15 th St

SE Warsaw St from SE Cascade Ave to SE Evergreen Ave

Crack seal operations will be commencing throughout the City; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.

ADA Street Improvement projects and curb ramp enhancements will be occurring at local intersections; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.

NOTE – During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.

SW 9 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave – Closed for construction thru Friday, May 10, 2019

SW 9 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave will be closed while construction activities related to the Centennial Park Expansion occur. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW 8 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave – Closed for construction thru Friday, May 31, 2019

SW 8 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave will be closed while construction activities related to the Centennial Park Expansion occur. Please use detours or an alternate route.

SW 6 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave – Traffic disruptions and sidewalk closures for construction thru Friday, May 31, 2019

SW 6 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave will experience lane and sidewalk closures as SunWest Builders performs construction activities for the Historic Redmond Hotel. Business access will be available. Please use caution.

SW Metolius Ave from SW 23rd St to SW 27th St – Closed for construction thru Friday, May 24, 2019

SW Metolius Ave from SW 23rd St to SW 27th St will be closed while Rickabaugh Construction installs sewer and water mains, curbs, sidewalks, and asphalt paving. Local access for residents will be permitted form SW 27th St. Please use detours or an alternate route.

NW Spruce Ave from NW 22 nd St to NW 19 th St – Closed for construction thru Tuesday, May 7, 2019

NW Spruce Ave from NW 22 nd St to NW 19 th St will be closed while Jack Robinson & Sons constructs the City of Redmond’s Far Wester Sewer Interceptor project. This closure includes the intersection of NW 22 nd St and NW Spruce Ave. Please use detours or an alternate route.

South Canal Improvement Project:

SW Veterans Way to SW Salmon Ave – South Canal Blvd from SW Veterans Way to SW Salmon Ave is open to thru traffic. Traffic disruptions or lane closures may occur at SW Pumice Ave and SW Kalama Ave as crews complete a pedestrian crossing, curbing, and a median. Please use caution and follow work zone traffic control signs.
