The Central Oregon Association of Realtors board of directors contributed $25,000 on April 30 to the new St. Charles Bend patient tower.

“I’d like to thank Central Oregon Association of Realtors for its generous gift to our new patient tower. We deeply appreciate the association’s support and commitment to the expansion of quality health care in Central Oregon,” said Joe Sluka, president and CEO of St. Charles Health System.

This is COAR’s second contribution to a St. Charles capital project. The first was $25,000 in 2017 for the La Pine Clinic. ” COAR believes it is important to invest in the future of our community for current and future residents,” said Tony Levison, COAR board president.

The capital campaign contribution is part of COAR’s community outreach program that gives back to local organizations. Other parts of the program include monthly beneficiaries, annual giving contributions, Building a Better Central Oregon, REALTORS for Kids and SmartGrowth grants.
