Crook County SO joins seat belt, car seat enforcement blitz

The Crook County Sheriff’s Office, along with other law enforcement agencies around the state, is participating in a safety belt and child car seat traffic enforcement blitz.

The blitz is taking place through June 2.

This enforcement is provided through overtime funding from the Oregon Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The primary focus of this blitz is to focus on the use of safety belts and child safety seats.
