Herbert Reedy, a 74-year-old La Pine man, has been found safe and is being reunited with his family, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said Tuesday morning.
Deputies had asked the public for help late Monday night as they searched for the missing man with Alzheimer’s disease.
Deputies were dispatched around 9:15 p.m. to an address on Sunrise Boulevard regarding Reedy, Sgt. Troy Gotchy said. They learned he had left his home in a tan 2000 Buick Le Sabre and had been gone for about four hours.
Gotchy said deputies were told Reedy likes to go to Gordy’s Truck Stop in La Pine and the Dutch Bros coffee stand on the south end of Bend.
