Yakima County coroner identifies fifth shooting victim
YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) – The Yakima County coroner has released the name of a man who was among five people shot to death on the Yakama Indian Reservation last weekend.
The coroner said Wednesday that 59-year-old John Cagle was killed in White Swan on Saturday.
The coroner released the names of the other four victims on Tuesday. All were residents of Yakima County.
Two members of the Yakama Nation have been arrested in connection with the slayings.
James Cloud and Donovan Cloud were indicted by a federal grand jury Tuesday on charges of carjacking and brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence.
No motive has been offered for the killings, although Yakima County Sheriff Robert Udell says some of the people involved were known to be involved in illegal drug activities.
