Local Alert Weather – Thurs. PM

KTVZ

Happy Thursday evening, everyone!

Shower chances are wrapping up this evening as we see an area of low pressure moves northeast. We have a few chances for thunderstorms remaining tonight. Overnight expect winds to be out of the northwest around 5 to 10 miles per hour. Low temperatures will be rather cool in the mid to upper 30s. If you live in an outlying area or near a body of water I would cover up or bring in your plants tonight! Skies will gradually clear and we’ll see some sunshine in the morning.

Friday begins with mostly sunny skies and we’ll see increasing clouds. Friday has a very slight chance for a few sprinkles, but mostly will see a few clouds in the afternoon. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Winds will be a bit breezy at times.

Heading into the weekend we’ll see temperatures keep warming. We’ll be in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s by the end of the weekend. Mostly sunny to sunny skies will be overhead.

July will be off to a warmer start with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s. Fourth of July is looking perfect with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lower 80s!
