Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 7-3-19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
Storm activity continues to weaken and exit the region. It will leave behind cool temps and mostly sunny skies. Highs today will be in the mid 70’s and NW breezes will be pretty gentle at 5 -10 mph . Cool overnight lows will actually be fairly average for this time of year; in the mid 40’s for most…a little cooler for those at higher elevations. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with light and variable breezes.
Just in time for Independence Day and the weekend to follow our skies will clear and our temperatures will rise very nicely. We may see a few thin clouds over the next few days, but plan on plenty of sunshine and with highs in the low to mid 80’s . Fireworks displays around Central Oregon are expected to begin at 10:00 pm for most. At that time skies will be mostly clear and temperatures will be in the low 60’s . Be prepared for temperatures to cool quickly through the rest of the night. We will carry these pleasant conditions right into the middle of next week.
