Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

Skies will be mostly clear around sunset tonight and clear through the overnight. The Perseid Meteor Shower is peaking overnight, so look straight up and maybe you’ll see some fun in the skies! However, the moon is nearly full, so the light might wash out some of the views. Temperatures will be chilly in the 50s and 60s around midnight with lows bottoming out in the mid 40s.

Tomorrow sees sunny skies with a few clouds during the day. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s, which is right around average. The average daytime high temperature is 86 degrees at Roberts Field in Redmond. Winds will be breezy at times in the afternoon gusting 15 miles per hour.

We’ll keep warming through Wednesday when we peak in the upper 80s. Temperatures will slightly cool down for Thursday and Friday, but we’ll still be above 80! Expect more sunshine than clouds over the extended forecast. The weekend ahead will see highs in the mid 80s.
