Missing man’s body found in Portland zoo construction site

The body of a man missing since Saturday was found on Monday in the construction site of a new rhino habitat at the Oregon Zoo in Portland, police said.
Officers responded to the zoo on Southwest Canyon Road shortly before 10 a.m. on a report of a deceased male in the site.
Officers learned the body of a man identified as Carl Stanley Ross Sr., 62, was found in the rhino habitat, which had no animals inside. Investigators learned Ross was reported missing on Saturday.
The medical examiner responded to the scene, but police said Monday evening the cause and manner of death have not been determined.
