S. Oregon man killed when motorcycle hits cow

MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — Authorities say a man was killed after crashing his motorcycle into a cow.

KOIN reports the crash happened early Monday morning in Jackson County in the southwest portion of the state. Police identified the man as 57-year-old Stephen Coolidge from Jacksonville. The cow was also killed.

Medford Fire and Oregon Department of Transportation assisted Oregon State Police Troopers in the crash investigation.
