KTVZ

Good Tuesday Morning, Everyone…

High pressure overhead will keep our skies clear and sunny today. With that the warm up continues. Look for highs to reach the low 90’s . Breezes, generally out of the north, will be quite variable at 5 -10 mph . Skies will stay fairly clear tonight, but we may see a few clouds by morning. Breezes will become light out of the south and lows will be in the low 40’s to low 50’s .

The warm up continues Wednesday as we see highs reach the mid to upper 90’s . Moisture moving in over those hot temperatures will give us a chance at seeing some late day thunderstorms. Those storms are likely to stay with us through Wednesday night and much of Thursday. Highs Thursday will back off to around 90 degrees. That will mark the beginning of a gradual cooling trend that will have us down in the low 80’s by Labor Day. While we may see a cloud or two Friday, the threat of showers will be gone. We will get plenty of sunshine right through the Labor Day weekend.
