‘It’s an escape for me’: Kids take the field in Bend for a mini lacrosse tournament

At Mountain View High School, there were many children in the grades 5 through 8 playing the sport they love on Saturday. Local lacrosse clubs are feeder schools to Bend, Caldera, Mountain View and Summit high schools, as well as Burns. The teams all joined together to compete in a mini lacrosse tournament, as they often have trouble drawing teams from outside the region to compete.
