Second victim of Labor Day boat crash found dead in Connecticut
OLD LYME, Conn. (AP) — Authorities have found the bodies of both men who remained missing four days after a boat carrying nine people crashed into a jetty along the Connecticut shoreline. State environmental conservation police officers found the bodies Friday. One was found in the mouth of the Connecticut River between Old Saybrook and Old Lyme, a short distance from the accident site. Officials didn’t detail the location of the second man’s body. Both names are being withheld pending notification of their families. Monday night’s crash killed a third man and injured six other people who were taken to a hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
