Russian strikes on a medical center kill 9 people in the Ukrainian city of Sumy

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukrainian officials say at least nine people have died in two consecutive Russian drone strikes on a medical center in the city of Sumy. Ukraine’s interior minister says the first strike killed one person then Russia attacked again while patients and staff were evacuating. Elsewhere four people died in Russian strikes in the Kharkiv region. Ukraine’s air force said Saturday it had shot down 69 of 73 Russian drones and two of four missiles.
