BEND, Ore (KTVZ) — Mt. Bachelor is celebrating a stellar holiday season as recent storms have delivered nearly 5 feet of snow, bringing the snow base to an impressive 108 inches at the base and 135 inches at mid-mountain.

With a total of 212 inches of snowfall so far this season, the resort has already surpassed half of its average annual snowfall. In the past 24 hours alone, Mt. Bachelor received 15 inches of fresh snow, with more snow showers expected throughout the day, making for some of the best ski and ride conditions in North America this holiday season.

As of December 29, Mt. Bachelor boasts the deepest snow base and the most overnight snowfall in the region, surpassing other resorts in Oregon and Washington. The forecast calls for continued snow next week.
