Webfoot Home Improvements to assist historic Petersen Rock Garden with Project Serious: Nonprofit Edition
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Webfoot Home Improvements is pleased to announce the winner of its annual community initiative, Project Serious: Nonprofit Edition. Petersen Rock Garden, a cherished local landmark between Bend and Redmond, has been selected to receive $20,000 in essential renovation services as part of this year's initiative.
Founded in 1935 by Danish immigrant Rasmus Petersen, Petersen Rock Garden is a testament to creativity and craftsmanship, featuring intricate miniature buildings, bridges, and sculptures meticulously crafted from rocks collected within an 85-mile radius. This unique folk art environment reflects Petersen's Scandinavian heritage and deep admiration for his adopted country.
