TSA PreCheck Enrollment Event at Redmond Airport to Streamline Summer Travel
Redmond, OR (KTVZ) – Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) is offering a convenient opportunity for travelers to streamline their airport experience with TSA PreCheck® enrollment, set for July 8-11, 2025. In partnership with IDEMIA, an authorized TSA PreCheck enrollment provider, the event will allow U.S. citizens, nationals, and permanent residents to sign up or renew their TSA PreCheck status directly at the airport.
The enrollment will take place in the airport’s main terminal at 2252 SE Jesse Butler Cir. and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Travelers are encouraged to complete the online application in advance to save time during the in-person appointment. Applicants will need to bring necessary documents proving identity and citizenship, submit fingerprints, have a photo taken, and pay the enrollment fee.
The cost for TSA PreCheck enrollment is $76.75, which covers a five-year membership. Once the process is complete, most applicants will receive their Known Traveler Number (KTN) within 3-5 days, which must be added to flight reservations to take advantage of TSA PreCheck benefits.
TSA PreCheck, created in 2011, provides a quicker, more efficient security experience for low-risk travelers. Enrolled passengers can use dedicated screening lanes, which often have wait times of 10 minutes or less. Additionally, members enjoy the convenience of keeping their shoes, belts, and light jackets on during screening, as well as leaving laptops, liquids, and food items in their bags.
