Congresswomen Bynum, Salinas to host roundtable to discuss rural economic development

OREGON CITY, OR – On Thursday, August 28, Congresswoman Janelle Bynum (OR-05) and Congresswoman Andrea Salinas (OR-06) will host a roundtable with local leaders, federal and state officials, and community stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities for rural economic development in Oregon.

The conversation will focus on infrastructure needs, access to federal resources, and ways to strengthen small-town economies across the region.

The roundtable is the latest in the New Dems on the Road Tour, an initiative spearheaded by the New Democratic Coalition for Members of Congress to hear from American workers, businesses, industry experts, nongovernmental organizations, and local leaders about how to improve policy in Washington.
