DIY holiday wreath workshop Today at Deschutes Public Library
(Update: Video Added)
This evening, you can learn how to hand-tie their own holiday wreaths during a workshop at the Downtown Bend branch of the Deschutes Public Library. The hands-on class will guide participants through creating a unique, personalized decoration.
Instructors will provide a variety of fresh greens, cones, 14-inch hand-tie wreath rings and wreath wire for attendees to use. Participants can add extra touches such as cones, berries, bows and other accents to give their wreaths a custom holiday look.
Attendees are asked to bring pruning shears or heavy scissors to work with the greenery. You may also bring additional natural items like branches, dried vegetation or berries, as well as other holiday-themed decorations, to incorporate into their designs.
The wreath-making event runs from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. on December 1, at the Downtown Bend Library. The program offers a seasonal craft opportunity for community members looking to create a meaningful and festive décor.
