Chance for rain/snow overnight into Sunday, mostly rainy and mild week ahead
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Happy Saturday! The calm, sunny start made for a perfect parade morning. However, changes are ahead. Clouds will build tonight as our next wave of moisture moves in. Showers are possible overnight into Sunday.
Temperatures will be cold enough that some of this could mix with snow, especially early in the day. Accumulation isn’t expected to amount to much since we’ve been relatively mild. The mountains could still pick up a couple of inches.
We could see a few showers tomorrow afternoon. Expect highs in the mid 50s with breezy conditions.
A persistent wet pattern is taking over. This is due to an atmospheric river which will deliver a steady stream of moisture into the Pacific Northwest. This could mean flooding concerns along the coastal and mountain areas.
Monday brings periods of rain and breezy conditions, with highs in the mid 50s. Tuesday is shaping up to be the wettest day for Central Oregon.
Highs are expected to hit the 60s on Wednesday.
