BREAKING NEWS: Hwy. 126 closed at Powell Butte Highway due to injury crash; here’s what to expect

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- All lanes on OR Highway 126 are closed due to a crash at the Powell Butte Highway intersection.

The closure is between Redmond and Prineville at milepost 7. ODOT Drivers should expect extended delays and are being urged to use alternate routes.

The Crook County Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post: Highway 126 at SW Powell Butte Highway is closed in both directions due to an injury motor vehicle crash, it will remain closed for a substantial period of time. Please avoid the area. Oregon State Police is the primary agency investigating this crash.
