Mt. Bachelor Welcomes February with Fresh Snowfall

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Mt. Bachelor kicked off February with a welcome return to winter conditions.

Since Saturday at 6:30 a.m., the mountain has picked up about one inch of fresh snow, with snowfall continuing through the day. The fresh flakes were a morale boost for staff — both human and canine — who were delighted to see snow falling again.

While the new snowfall is a positive sign, coverage remains thin across Mt. Bachelor. Guests are encouraged to ride with caution, stick to open and groomed trails, and remain aware of both marked and unmarked obstacles while enjoying the conditions.
