(Update: Missing man found deceased)

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – An 85-year-old man last seen near his home in the Eagle Crest area west of Redmond nearly two months ago, prompting a public request for any information, has been found dead in a secluded area about 60 miles east of Bend, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said Monday.

An investigation determined that foul play is not suspected in the death of Dale Arthur Davison, who was found on Friday in a secluded area about 60 miles east of Bend, Sergeant Jason Wall said.

Davison was last seen on Nov. 7 near his home in his gray 2012 Chevy Silverado pickup truck, with Oregon license plate 724 NTW, Detective Bryan Morris said in a news release last Wednesday.

Asked about the long time period between when he last was seen and the announcement, Morris said Davison's family had asked for the information to be more widely disseminated, in hopes of finding him.
