U.S. Highway 20 about 20 miles east of Bend reopens after 3 1/2-hour closure due to crash

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – A serious-injury crash closed U.S. Highway 20 East for about 3 1/2 hours Thursday afternoon near Horse Ridge, about 20 miles east of Bend.

The crash was reported shortly after 1 p.m. near milepost 20, about six miles west of Millican, ODOT’s Trip Check showed. The highway reopened around 4:30 p.m.

“This closure could last several hours,” ODOT had advised, urging drivers to “use an alternate route or delay your trip.” Track the latest on our TripCheck page.
