Deep divisions on Russia’s war in Ukraine were evident at a meeting of 4 Central European countries

PRAGUE (AP) — The prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia says the four Central European countries are deeply divided over Russia’s war against Ukraine and how to resolve the conflict. The four post-communist countries form an informal grouping of European Union and NATO members known as the Visegrad Four. The Czech Republic and Poland are united in staunch support for Ukraine including arms deliveries. But Hungary and Slovakia have sharply different views. Slovakia and Hungary have refused to give Ukraine arms and ammunition and say peace can be reached only by negotiations.
