NEW YORK (AP) — It’s the kind of book friends recommend to each other, especially if someone is going through a time of loneliness or romantic loss. The late bell hooks’ “All About Love” was published nearly a quarter century ago. But it’s found a new generations of readers who respond to its message of empathy and community. Shadee Malaklou, who directs the bell hooks center at Berea College in Kentucky, says that hooks, as a feminist of color, was writing about a love for justice.
