KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Grief, anger, humor, defiance and fear are some of the emotions Ukrainians are grappling with as they face a third year of war. Opinion researcher Anton Grushetsky says an increasing number of Ukrainians feel that “the West is tired of Ukraine” and allies aren’t sending much-needed weapons. But most still believe Ukraine will win the war. Valentyna, who works at a power station targeted by Russian missiles, says Ukraine wants the world to remember “that people are dying right now,” Meanwhile, an art class for war widows helps women deal with bereavement. Participant Anastasiya Sereda paints a portrait of her soldier boyfriend with the face of a panda, trying to capture both his heroism and his humor.
