BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – A stretch of Knott Road on Bend's south end will be closed to through traffic for nearly three weeks for removal of a bridge and an ongoing irrigation canal piping project, officials said Tuesday.

The Arnold Irrigation District’s contractor, K&E Excavating, said the closure begins on Monday, April 7 and is expected to wrap up Saturday, April 26th.

The company says local access will be allowed, and area businesses also will have access.

Through traffic will be detoured onto China Hat Road, Parrell Road and Country Club Drive.
