New shop Pika Pika brings cute collectibles to downtown Bend
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- A new shop in downtown Bend is bringing sparkle and a dose of Japanese-inspired charm to the local retail scene.
Pika Pika sells toys and collectible figurines, including some of the most in-demand and hard-to-get items like Labubus figures and Pokémon cards. The store features a wide selection of Japanese and Asian imports, along with merchandise from popular cartoons.
Owner Vivienne Mariotti says the idea was to open a place that’s not only adorable but also cultural.
“Pika, pika means sparkle, sparkle, sparkle. Because we just want to bring a little sparkle to the end. And if we want to build an atmosphere that's equal parts, elevated and also adorable. So it's where cute meets crave. We'd love to have you come by,” she said.
Alongside the collectibles, the shop also features a café. It’s serving designer teas, sweet treats, and soft-serve ice cream. The café portion is still in progress and is expected to open fully in the coming weeks.
Pika Pika is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
