Burgerville update: Popular Portland fast-food chain still plans to come to Bend – but not at spot it listed by mistake

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – A much-anticipated addition to Bend’s fast-food scene is clearly still planning to come to the High Desert soon, though Burgerville withdrew from its location map Tuesday an apparently incorrect location in southeast Bend.

KTVZ reported nearly a year ago that Burgerville had confirmed it was scouting locations in Bend as part of its first expansion in years - and if it goes well, and might open a spot in Redmond in the future.

And indeed, on the job website Indeed is listing a Bend general manager position at $63,000 to $70,000 a year and another listing for a Bend assistant manager position, paying $24 to $26 an hour.

For a while, Burgerville actually had a Southeast Third Street location on their website, but they now say that was a mistake and it's been removed.

Here’s a statement a company representative sent to KTVZ late Tuesday:

“While we can confirm Bend is on the short list for Burgerville openings in 2025, we cannot confirm an exact location at this time. There was an error from our third-party partner that inadvertently published an address in Bend on our website. This error has been resolved. We are able to inform you that we are looking at multiple locations in the north and central areas of Bend.”

We'll keep you posted as we learn more.
