Furry Friends: Meet Max, the honorary lap dog

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- This week is a 3 year old mixed breed named Max.

He has lots of energy but will never turn down cuddles! He might be big, but he'll do anything to snuggle in your lap.

After coming from a rough background, he's made great strides at the shelter with other dogs and people. Savanah Wellman, the development and volunteer manager for BrightSide Animal Center, said, "People haven't always been the nicest to him, but as you can see, he has not let that hold him back at all, and he is just the biggest love there is..." Although he prefers women, Savanah believed that with the proper introductions, he could fit in to a lot of different homes.
