Find One-of-a-Kind Holiday Decor at Super Thrift’s Christmas Village in Bend
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- If you’re looking for unique holiday décor you won’t find anywhere else, head to the Christmas Village at Super Thrift in Bend.
Each year, one corner of the store transforms into a festive holiday display. Shoppers can browse decorations, vintage goods, stocking stuffers, and even Christmas music, all at thrift store prices.
Super Thrift supports a faith-based rehabilitation program, and many of the store’s employees are either enrolled in or graduates of the program. Kyle Thompson, Center Director for Adult and Teen Challenge, says he’s seen the impact firsthand.
“I’m a graduate of the program 20 years ago, and today I’m running the program. It changed my life completely,” Thompson said. “Guys come in at rock bottom, and when they get to the program, we work with them really closely. There’s a lot of individual care and because it’s a year-long program, it gives them time to build new routines.”
Along with the Christmas Village, there’s a Christmas tree lot set up out front. All proceeds from the tree sales and the thrift store go to the charity 'Adult and Teen Challenge Pac-West'.
