Community Conversations: La Pine Community Kitchen hosts fundraiser for new facility

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Lynsey Harris is joined by the La Pine Community Kitchen to discuss their upcoming fundraiser to support the construction of a new facility.

The event, featuring live music and a charity auction, will take place at Wetlands Tap House on Saturday, May 31, with doors opening at 5 p.m.

Currently operating out of repurposed buildings, including a former landfill office and a converted chicken coop, the kitchen provides meals, clothing and hygiene essentials to families, elderly residents and veterans. Organizers hope the new facility will expand their ability to serve the community.

Pre-sale tickets are available now for $20, with door prices set at $25. All proceeds will go directly toward the new building.
