(Update: Missing man found in Yamhill County in good health)

La PINE, Ore. (KTVZ) – Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies who asked the public for help Friday evening in finding a missing 84-year-old man with dementia said later the man was found in Yamhill County, in good health.

Leo Blondo, a resident in the Spring River area south of Sunriver, last was seen around 3:50 p.m. Friday, leaving the La Pine post office, and was heard to say he was heading to Arizona, Sgt. Jayson Janes said.

Blondo was driving a champagne-color Chevy Silverado standard cab pickup truck with Oregon license plates 401 CME, Janes said. He last was seen wearing blue jeans, a tan flannel shirt, suspenders and black shoes.

Deputies also had released a DMV photo of Blondo and a photo of a similar pickup.

Anyone who had seen Blondo, knows his location or has other information to share regarding his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff’s office at 541-693-6911.
