Sunriver Resort launches Sunriver Golf Club; Woodlands, Meadows golf courses transition to private status

SUNRIVER, Ore. Effective immediately, the resort’s Woodlands and Meadows Golf Courses have transitioned to private status, now exclusively serving Sunriver Resort guests and Sunriver Golf Club members.

The Meadows Golf Course, designed by the renowned architect John Fought, is known for its breathtaking scenic views and strategic diversity. Featuring 18 holes that offer a mix of challenge and accessibility, including several that run alongside the tranquil Sun River, the Meadows course is a favorite among golfers of all levels. Its layout, reminiscent of the classic courses of the 1920s and 1930s, and its role as host to numerous prestigious tournaments, reaffirms its status as a championship-caliber course.

The Woodlands Golf Course, crafted by the legendary designer Robert Trent Jones Jr., stands as a testament to golfing excellence set against the backdrop of Oregon's natural beauty. With 18 holes surrounded by dense forests of ponderosa and lodgepole pine, and accented with outcroppings of lava rock and water hazards, the Woodlands course challenges golfers to use strategy and precision. • Golf Membership: one-time initiation and monthly dues
