Petition drive seeks November vote on expanding Deschutes County Commission from three to five
Business owner John Heylin says expanding the Deschutes County Board of Commissioners from three to five would lead to more budget scrutiny and other benefits. His Represent Deschutes effort has about 1,000 of the 6,500 needed signatures to put it on the fall ballot.
