BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Four of the seven seats on the Bend City Council are up for grabs this November as eight candidates met this week's filing deadline.

Three of the four seats have returning council members. Current City Councilor Anthony Broadman is running for the Oregon Senate District 27 seat this November, so his open seat is on the ballot.

Only that open council seat, Position 2, has a candidate running unopposed, Gina Franzosa. Councilor Megan Norris has drawn one Position 1 challenger, Jonathan Curtis, while Position 3 Councilor Megan Perkins faces one challenger, Nick Cerveny.

Long-time Councilor Barb Campbell faces two candidates seeking her seat - Steve Platt and Chet Wamboldt.
