Bipartisan celebration set in Central Oregon for legendary politician’s 90th birthday

REDMOND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- A powerhouse lineup of Oregon political figures is converging in Redmond on Sunday to celebrate former Oregon Secretary of State Bev Clarno turning 90.

The private event is expected to draw a number of past and present Oregon lawmakers — all longtime friends of Clarno, a respected Republican who bridged divides in Salem. Oregon Historical Society Director, Kerry Tymchuck, will emcee the gathering.
