DCSO update missing La Pine-area man found, safe
La PINE, Ore. (KTVZ) -- The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office asked the public for help Tuesday afternoon in finding a missing La Pine-area man last seen late Monday morning. And a short time later, they said he'd been found and was safe.
Deputies said in a Facebook post that Kyle Shook, 22, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. Monday in the area of Federal Road, on foot.
He was described as low-functioning and autistic, about 5-foot-9 and about 154 pounds, with dark brown hair.
Deputies and a family member said he was wearing blue basketball-type shorts, a black short with an range Oregon State logo on it, black-rimmed glasses, white socks and Keen-type river sandals.
